I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually happening.
